Bonding & Relining Service

Saftek's brake shoe and clutch plate bonding and re-lining service is available from our Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, factory, providing fast turnaround and a UK wide collection and delivery service. Our professional staff have 100 years combined experience in the specialist re-lining area and provide a high quality service using our range of non-asbestos materials. We will take your brake shoes and clutch plates, strip off old material and bond and/or rivet the material to suit your application. Oversized thickness linings and drum skimming are available. Both 'soft' and 'hard' grade materials may be specified in accordance with the duty required.

Brake Shoe Casting

Saftek also offer new alloy cast shoes where additional or replacement items are required. Simply supply us with a pair of shoes as a pattern and we will manufacture new components from your existing shoes. This is a high quality, fast-turnaround service with items produced within three days of receipt of samples. Shoes can, of course, then be relined as usual.
